Pedicab drivers will be trained English

In an effort to improve services to any foreign tourists who come, the Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA) in Surakarta in the near future will hold English training for rickshaw drivers. The training sessions were devoted to the rickshaw driver who had been hung around the hotels.


Board of Trustees ASITA Surakarta Djuritno Judo Hadinagoro said training will be held this coming May. "Training in the form of face to face for a couple of times, depending on the needs and resources of their capture, by a lecturer from the college," he told reporters on Thursday (22 / 4).

The material is taught to the extent used daily conversation, such as greeting good morning, thank you, ask the purpose, and so forth. In addition to language training, pedicab drivers are also expected to master an area where he worked. "It shows the local tourist attractions or historic sites," he said.
