Labuhan ceremony is held to celebrate the birth of King or Sultan in Javanese language.
Labuh is means throwing something sacred in river or the sea. The offering from Sultan palace consist of food, cuts of fingernails and the hair of the Sultan.
Then the offering will be thrown away into the South sea. The offering is presented to the goddess of the South sea called Kanjeng Ratu Kidul.
